Last Days in the City

Yesterday was my last day of work...hard to believe.... and I had two going away parties on Thursday which I have now sufficiently recovered from. The first one was a small gathering of people from my corporate dept. Carlos, another associate from my department, actually gave notice one day after I did so they had a party to wish us off. I'll be seeing those guys again though as I have officially accepted a position in DLA's San Diego office. You can look for me on DLA's web site right after the July bar. If you are reading this and have taken the California bar, please e-mail me your Barbri notes. I had to leave the work party early though to catch up with my friends downtown. Unfortunately my camera battery died before we made it to Korea Town so there are no good pictures of Neil belting out Michael Bolton. Of course, we went to the Chorus Karaoke where Neil, Aaron and I are local heroes as we are posted on their wall of fame. I'll do one more posting before I take off, and yes I am starting to get a little nervous but very excited. But then again, my best friend is getting married next week so it is all relative.
