So I have left the beauty of Switzerland for the charm of Italy. I immediately noticed a difference in culture as soon I was on the train out of Switzerland and heard an announcement that the train was running twenty minutes late. In Switzerland, everything is precisely on time. If you are one minute late there, you will miss your train. Meanwhile, Chad and I were worried about missing our connection to Florence but no worries, our connecting train in Milan took about ten minutes to leave. After going out last night in Florence, I spent today checking out the city of Florence including the Rennassaince art here. I will be staying here for the next 4 nights or so but mainly doing day trips. Florence is a great city and reminds me of Seville because of the old architecture and the maze of streets here, but it is very toursity and I really want to check out the medieval city of Sienna and the wine region of Tuscany.
