Giants win Super Bowl -- Live from Australia!

Photo taken from the Beach Hotel in Byron Bay, Australia, the easternmost place on mainland Australia.

It's hard to believe! I just returned from the Beach Hotel, located right across the street from the ocean, and I was watching the Super Bowl live at 10 am in the morning while waves were crashing onto the Australian shoreline. My first superbowl (and hopefully not last) from a beach bar. Better yet, the New York Giants, a team no one exepcted to even be in the playoffs, made the Super Bowl. But of course they had no chance, right. They were going up against the 18-0 undefeated New England Patriots. Well, they had more than just a chance. They outplayed the Patriots for most of the game and won a 17-14 game in thrilling fashion. Eli Manning, the team's former number one pick, finally made the trade that brought him to the Giants more than worth while, and led the Giants down the field in the final 2 and half minutes. Not to mention, he elusively escaped being sacked and threw the ball downfield to wide recevier David Tyree (who caught the ball against his helmet) in what was the most important play of the fame. An ESPN classic for sure. Life does not get any better than this...

Don't forget to check out my 3 recent posts (with photos) below. I'll post pics from Australia soon.
